Prospective students must submit the following materials to the Research and Graduate Studies Office at the University of the Pacific. A completed application includes:

  • Completed Online Application 
  • Contact information for three references
  • Official transcripts from all institutions of higher education
  • Personal statement on professional goals and objectives
  • GRE (Graduate Record Exam) General Examination test scores. (MCAT's are acceptable for students interested in the Bioengineering concentration.)
  • For students whose first language is not English, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required. Minimum scores for admission: 550 (paper), 213 (computer), or 79-80 (internet)
    - Minimum scores for a teaching assistantship award: 575 (paper), 231 (computer) or 89-90 (internet)

Blended Program Students
Students concurrently enrolled in Pacific's School of Engineering and Computer Science who are interested in the blended program only need to complete the following:

  • The graduate school application form
  • A personal statement on professional goals and objectives

Unclassified Graduate Students
Students may take a maximum of 12 graduate units before they must file an application for admission in the Office of Research and Graduate Studies. These 12 units are subject to approval towards a graduate degree. Check with the Office of Research and Graduate Studies for deadline dates.

Note: An official transcript showing a bachelor's degree must be verified at the same time this form is submitted.
