Sara Rittweger- USAC Ambassador/Peer Advisor Leader

I am a senior studying Speech-Language Pathology. I have recently returned from my semester abroad in Lüneburg, Germany. Studying in a country with such a rich history and culture was an incredible, surreal opportunity and I am so thankful for the experience and skills it has given me. Although I miss the people and places I grew to call home, I am excited to be back at Pacific so I can extend the same opportunity to my fellow students.
Claudia Ochoa
I am a senior studying International Relations. I have recently studied abroad in Pau, France for the Spring 2012 semester. Studying abroad in France has made me become a more cultured and well-rounded person. This experience has changed my life and I would recommend to anyone to take the chance and explore what the world has to offer because this is a once in a lifetime experience. Now that I am back at Pacific I want to help other students, as an Education Abroad Peer Student Advisor, embark on the adventure of studying abroad by sharing with them my knowledge that I have acquired while studying abroad.
David Tran
I am a senior studying the Doctor of Pharmacy Advantage Program. I studied abroad in the Fall of 2011 in Shanghai, China. The experience I received from my time in Shanghai taught me more about myself. I would like to let more students know of this kind of opportunity.
Rachel Miyazaki
I am a senior majoring in Asian Studies and minoring in International Studies. I studied abroad in Nishinomiya, Japan last fall and in Daegu, South Korea in spring. Participating in study abroad and Pacific's faculty-led tours to Cambodia and Guatemala have made a great impact on my life. Being abroad not only opened my eyes to be more globally aware, but self-aware too. As a peer advisor, I hope to encourage more students to take on this life changing experience!
Khatijah Corey
I am a senior SIS and COP student studying International Relations and Spanish. I studied abroad in Cordoba, Argentina for all of 2011. Argentina was an incredibly diverse and welcoming county that embraced me as one of their own. I was able to study at the local university with regular Argentine students and lived with beautiful host family that became like my own. It was a fantastic year filled with new friends, new places, new travels and excitement but it felt wonderful to come back to my life at Pacific as well.
