International Student Admission Requirements

The University of the Pacific welcomes applications from international students and provides complete support services through the International Programs and Services Office (IPS).

In addition to the following, please review the General Requirements for Admission.

United States Visa for Students

All international students who study in the United States are required to be in appropriate immigration status. If you are accepted to University of the Pacific, the Office of Admission will provide you with the most appropriate information regarding your immigration status. You must prove that you have adequate financial resources to pay for your US education and living expenses through a Certification of Finances.

This can be demonstrated through the academic record itself, or by means of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or the English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT).
