Committee for Academic Planning and Development (CAPD)
The purpose of the Committee on Academic Planning and Development is to strengthen teaching at Pacific through professional development of the faculty. In addition to the financial support that CAPD can provide through the grants described below, it sponsors workshops, guest speakers, and training via the Center for Teaching and Learning to enhance teaching in a variety of ways.
Proposals can be written for a variety of grant options. There are three deadlines each scholastic year. The Office of the Provost will distribute fliers and Campus E-News prior to these deadlines for requests.
