Department of Biological Sciences
The Department of Biological Sciences provides curricula leading to a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. In addition, the Department cooperates with the Department of Chemistry in offering a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry-Biology. Program of studies are flexible to prepare students to pursue careers in advanced degrees in the area of molecular and cellular biology, genetics, biochemistry, botany, microbiology, physiology, or zoology. Programs in the department also prepare students for health-based professional fields that include dentistry, pharmacy, medicine, biotechnology, nursing or physical therapy.
