Department of Economics

The Department of Economics provides a high quality, versatile education to students that prepares them for success in a wide variety of professions or post-graduate education.

We offer a total of six individually tailored tracks nested inside of two degree options to meet the needs of just about any student.

Economics majors and minors are taught how to conceptualize their own roles in society, whether acting as individuals, members of private-sector firms or as public servants in the government sector.

When you graduate with a degree in Economics, you will know how to apply theoretical and technical skills (e.g. statistics and computers) to any number of specialized areas within the discipline. 

We teach you a skill set that is usable in the real world.
