Special Keynote Speaker:

Banu Subramaniam from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Dr. Subramaniam's talk will be entitled:

Alien Becomes Exotic: Gender, Race, and the Practice of Science

Dr. Subramaniam is a Biologist who specializes in Science, Gender and Race, whose work builds bridges between the natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities.

 

This conference is open to Undergraduate and Masters students from any field. 

There will be two awards of $250 each for the best pre-submitted Undergraduate and Graduate paper, generously sponsored by Phi Kappa Phi.
