Special Keynote Speaker: Banu Subramaniam from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Dr. Subramaniam's talk will be entitled: Alien Becomes Exotic: Gender, Race, and the Practice of Science Dr. Subramaniam is a Biologist who specializes in Science, Gender and Race, whose work builds bridges between the natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities.

conference is open to Undergraduate and Masters students from any
field.
