Biological Sciences Center
Pacific is a leader in providing
undergraduate training in the sciences,
and the program in Biology is one of
the most competitive in the nation. At
Pacific, learning science means doing
science, so students work in close
collaboration with faculty on exciting
research projects. New facilities are
needed to accommodate the rapid
growth of the biology program due to
increasing popularity of the health
sciences nationwide.
In addition, the
Biological Sciences program feeds
Pacific’s outstanding professional
programs in dentistry and pharmacy,
furthering the positive effect of a top
notch Biological Sciences facility on
Pacific. The new 54,000 square-foot
Biological Sciences Center will be the
hallmark of Pacific sciences by providing
state-of-the-art spaces for learning through
inquiry, exploration, and discovery.
In August, 2005, Pacific announced that it was near the $20
million goal for new Biological Sciences Center.
