College of the Pacific
College of the Pacific embraces the precepts and practices of learning
through inquiry, exploration, and discovery. The College achieves excellence
through exciting and innovative programs in the arts, humanities,
social sciences and natural sciences, and unique interdisciplinary programs.
The Jacoby Center for Community and Regional Studies leads
the College in the promotion of civic and core values of liberal learning
through community involvement.
The College provides the essential liberal arts experience for students
in business, engineering, education, and the health sciences. The natural
sciences program helps to provide a strong foundation for Pacific undergraduates
who continue their education in one of Pacific’s signature graduate
health sciences programs in Dentistry, Pharmacy, Speech Language
Pathology, and Physical Therapy. New science facilities will enhance these
science programs. Emerging dynamic programs in bioengineering and
engineering physics are examples of successful collaboration with the
professional schools.
