School of Engineering and Computer Science
The School of Engineering and Computer Science provides an undergraduate
education that prepares students for careers, research, or
further study. Graduates possess superior technical knowledge, critical
thinking skills, creativity, communication skills, and ethical values. Each
engineering student is required to participate in two semester-long paid
cooperative education experiences in order to graduate from this five
year program. This unique requirement results in graduates who are
consistently offered positions at salaries that well exceed the national
average.
The addition of a new Bioengineering program and the expansion
of the School to include Computer Science has broadened the
opportunities available. The School provides an educational and learning
experience that rivals the finest undergraduate engineering and computer
science programs in the country.
