Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry

The Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, which has gained national prominence through its programs and the achievements of its graduates, embraces a humanistic approach to education. The School teaches future dentists how to provide patient-centered, quality care. The San Francisco-based campus has state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, clinical instruction facilities, and research facilities. The success of the three-year DDS program, the only one of its kind in the country, is demonstrated by a greater than 95 percent state board pass rate, as well as the leadership roles in dentistry held by many of its graduates.

The School is a major source of dental health care for Bay Area residents of limited means. Eleven public-access clinics deliver more than $8 million worth of much needed discounted care annually, while providing a unique learning environment for students. The School also assists dental professionals with their diverse needs for continuous professional growth by providing valuable opportunities for continuing education in a technology-rich environment.
