Support hands-on learning
Pacific's tradition of academic excellence is made possible by the generous annual support of many loyal alumni, parents, friends, and even current students. Giving to the Pacific Fund enhances the University's reputation and provides a vital source of funding.
Your gift to the Pacific Fund impacts:
- Undergraduate Scholarships: Providing need-based and merit scholarships.
- Experiential Learning: Includes research assistants, senior theses, studying abroad, field work, and other experiential learning projects. These experiences prepare students to be effective practicing professionals and leaders.
- Faculty Scholarship and Research: Increases opportunity for faculty research through travel, leaves and the purchase of new equipment.
- Academic Innovation: Supporting faculty, staff, and students in multidisciplinary collaborations, certificate programs, community-based research and in the pioneering of international partnerships.
Pacific is constantly striving to increase the total number of alumni who contribute annually to the University. A high alumni participation rate is important for leveraging sizable support from individuals, corporations, foundations, as well as federal and state agencies. In addition, alumni participation in annual giving is one of the measures by which institutions are rated by US News & World Report and other organizations.
The Pacific Fund Office solicits gifts for the Pacific Fund through direct mail, Phonathon, Reunion Giving Program, and Senior Class Gift efforts.
