Senior Class Gift 2008

Congratulations to the class of 2008 for raising $4,326 with 19% class participation!

The Class of 2008 raised money for the Pacific Fund from which a grant will be made to the Alex and Jeri
Vereschagin Alumni House, a future campus home for alumni functions. The facility will house historical photos, memorabilia, yearbooks, and Feather River Inn momentos, all dating back 160 years. Alumni will have access to a multifunctional hall, meeting rooms, and a state-of-the-art media center.

Fundraising for the Alumni House began with a $2 million donation from Alex '57 and Jeri '57 Vereschagin. Groundbreaking for the Alumni House is planned for Spring 2009.

All donors of the 2008 Senior Class Gift will be recognized in the University Honor Roll of Donors and the class itself will be recognized in the new Alumni House. The gift was presented by Adam Ellison '08, chair of the Senior Class Gift Committee, to President DeRosa and Provost Gilbertson during Commencement.
