Degree Evaluation (CAPP)

CAPP Degree Evaluation, or Curriculum, Advising, and Program Planning, is designed to show you where the courses you take fit into your current academic program or if thinking about a change, where your courses could fit into another academic program. CAPP Degree Evaluation is not meant to replace your advisor or the University Catalog, but it serves as a great reference tool to make your path to graduation day easier to follow, by tracking your progress towards degree completion.  You may view this at anytime via insidePacific.

CAPP Degree Evaluation is the process of checking your progress against course requirements to meet a degree program goal. Three options are available in CAPP Degree Evaluation, although most often you will generate a new evaluation so that the most recent CAPP Degree Evaluation displays. The three options appear as choices on the bottom of the main menu:

  • View Previous Evaluation - allows you to select a previously prepared Degree Evaluation report.

  • Generate New Evaluation - allows you to prepare a new Degree Evaluation report based on your current program of study reflecting the most current aspects of your CAPP Degree Evaluation.

  • What-if Analysis - allows you to prepare a CAPP Degree Evaluation report with a different major, minor, etc., if you are considering a change in program. [Note: Running a what-if analysis does not guarantee you acceptance into the program.  You must meet admission requirements and be approved via a change of program form from that department.]
