The United States Department of Agriculture, Albany, CA - The mission of the United States Department of Agriculture Western Regional Research Center, USDA-WRRC, is to conduct research that will enhance the quality of foods, develop new foods and industrial products from renewable sources, and to enhance and protect the quality of the environment."Overall, I was very satisfied with my time spent with the USDA. I felt I learned a lot about working in a research position and the intricacy of a job environment. Not only did I feel like I gained valuable experience from working at the USDA, I felt that from working with the different types of people and the general environment of the company helped me grow as a person and an engineer. I'm very glad that I was able to meet and work with a variety of people from different parts of the world.
