Media information

Journalists are invited to request media credentials for the April 25 debate for U.S. Senate, featuring candidates Tom Del Beccaro, Kamala Harris, Loretta Sanchez, George “Duf” Sundheim and Ron Unz.

Journalists who wish to cover the debate must complete and submit the Media Credential Request Form.

Be sure to indicate whether you want to reserve a workstation in the filing room. For TV outlets, indicate whether you need space for a live truck and/or an outdoor location for a live shot.


Other details:

  • Pool photography will be provided by the San Francisco Chronicle.
  • University of the Pacific will invite credentialed media to a logistical walkthrough the week before the debate.
  • Highlighted debate-day events include:
    • Noon talk by Chronicle Editor-in-Chief Audrey Cooper with college students about political journalism
    • 2 p.m. pre-debate panel discussion featuring Pacific students, faculty
    • 5 p.m. public reception and discussion of California politics
    • 5 p.m. watch party in Tiger Lair, an on-campus pub
    • Watch parties on Pacific's Sacramento and San Francisco campuses
