Addressing Mail

Please follow these guidelines so that your student will receive his/her mail and packages as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Students Please Note

  • When Mail Services receives a package for a student, the package is processed and an e-mail is automatically sent to their "@u.pacific.edu" address.
  • You must bring your Pacific ID to Mail Services to pick up your package. This is University policy and not at the discretion of Mail Services' personnel.
  • Packages will be held for seven days before it is returned to sender. If you do not intend on picking up your package, please email us to let us know. If you have special circumstances (i.e. out of town, too ill to come to Mail Services), please notify Mail Services prior to the seventh day after your package arrived to make special arrangements.
  • Mail Services can forward USPS mail and packages for 90 days only.

Mail is delivered Monday-Friday to the residence hall mail boxes by 5:00 pm. If you are having issues with receiving mail, please contact Mail Services at (209) 946-2250 or by e-mail.

Mailbox Keys

Mailbox keys can be picked up at Mail Services. You are solely responsible for returning the mailbox key to Mail Services upon check out from a residence hall or any room change. For a lost or unreturned mailbox key, you will be charged a replacement fee of $35.00

Address Change

If at some time during your stay here at the University you move or check out of a residence hall, a "Change of Address" should be submitted to Mail Services. Once your form is completed, you can e-mail it to us at: Mailroom@pacific.edu.
