Wireless Internet Access

University of the Pacific wireless access allows computers, smartphones, or other devices to connect to the internet or communicate with one another wirelessly within a particular area. Wireless internet is available on each campus in campus buildings and most outdoor areas. There are three wireless network options at University of the Pacific.

Requesting the Service

PacificNet — PacificNet is the primary network for students, staff and faculty at all three campuses. You may log in using your PacificNet user name and password.

PacDeviceReg — PacDeviceReg is for e-readers, gaming consoles or other devices that can't connect to PacificNet due to technical device limitations. To use PacDeviceReg, you must register your device at the Device Registration Portal at  go.Pacific.edu/devicereg. At the portal, you will need to provide your PacificNet user name and password and the MAC address of your device. Instructions are provided on the registration site.

Pacific_Guest — Pacific_Guest is a network access for guests visiting any of the Pacific campuses. To connect, simply read Pacific's applicable policies and click "Accept & Continue" to gain access to the Internet. A guest's access to PacificNet_Guest wireless network will be granted in 12-hour increments. Once 12 hours has passed, the guest will be required to return to the PacificNet_Guest splash page and click on "Accept & Continue" again.
