Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership

The organizational leadership degree completion program aims to help students develop a basic understanding of the theories of leadership  and how to best implement changes in order to guide successful organizations. Courses cover topics such as communication, public relations, conflict management, social psychology and leadership development.

Graduates of the Organizational Leadership program develop effective communication, critical thinking, ethical reasoning and leadership skills that are broadly applicable in a wide range of careers and industries. Sixteen percent of jobs in California (above average) will require organizational leadership skills, and this number is expected to grow. In California, there have been 35,131 job postings for organizational leadership roles between March 2018 and March 2019. Most graduates pursue managerial, executive and administrative positions in the private or public sector. Many of our working students use their degree to move up in their current organizations to positions with more responsibility and higher salaries. The average salary for an organizational leadership position in California is $90,562 according to Burning Glass, 2019.

The following California companies hire for organizational leadership positions: Google, Anthem Blue Cross, Mitsubishi, Facebook, Gap, Amazon, Union Bank, FedEx, Apple, XPO, Walmart, 24 Hour Fitness and many more.
