Language Performance Night

Annual language performance is a long tradition in our department. Students perform for an audience of peers in the languages they are learning. They demonstrate excellent language skills and other talents by singing, dancing, acting in short plays, producing film episodes, participating in fashion shows, and more. Join us in celebrating the fun of using another language.

Take a look at some recent examples of students performing at our annual Language Performance Night.

Students of Spanish perform compositions set to guitar.

German students perform Heinrich Heine's arrangement
of "The Song of Lorelei," a traditional German folk song.

Students perform a Japanese folk dance, accompanied by
traditional music and attired in traditional clothing.
