Demonstrate technology-based skills on platforms currently used in the music industry  

Music Industry Knowledge

Demonstrate knowledge of the music industry necessary for entry-level employment:  

a. Music publishing and copyright  

b. Commerce and finance functions (quantitative reasoning) relevant to the contemporary music industry

c. Current events and influences in the student's area of interest

d. Basic tenets of business law as well as legal issues in the music industry

e. Entrepreneurial thinking and activity  

Self-Regulation of Learning

Self-Awareness, Interpersonal, Individual, Ethical, and Career Development Skills:  

a. Develop awareness of and a sense of the importance of ethical reasoning and decision-making

b. Demonstrate a clear and reasoned approach to the student's own career and personal objectives

c. Demonstrate interpersonal skills critical for success in team or collaborative environments
