Nayoung Kang ’19, PharmD earned her doctor of pharmacy from University of the Pacific. Dr. Kang is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Pharmacists Association and the California Pharmacists Association.

What she loves about Pacific is the beautiful campus and supportive, friendly environment. She also appreciates the University’s commitment to student-focused teaching and learning. Her goal in her role at Pacific, is to motivate students to immerse themselves in the subject by providing engaging clinically-applicable examples.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading and watching movies.


Teaching Philosophy: “I aim to maximize learning by providing students with relatable clinical examples while they learn about pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. My goal is to make classes engaging and interactive so students can easily apply what they learn.”
