    PharmD Interviews

    PHSHome/Admissions/How to apply

On-site interviews are required for the most competitive applicants. Applicants will be notified by e-mail if they qualify for an interview. The invitation will include a sign-up link to an interview date.  New dates are open once the date displayed is full. Interviews are normally conducted between late September and late March. Admission offers for strong candidates are made within two to four weeks of the interview. Most students who are not offered a space will be reviewed for admission or a wait-list offer at the end of the review cycle (late March, early April).

    Interview Day Overview

All candidates begin the interview day with a photo session. Your picture will be taken and uploaded into our system.  An orientation session will follow in one of our lecture halls.  During the orientation, we will go over the interview schedule so you will know what to expect.  The Dean or another faculty member will speak with you about the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

    One-on-One Interviews

All candidates will have individual interviews with a faculty member and a current PharmD student.  Our interview monitors will make sure you are taken to your interview locations.

    Student Presentation

A presentation will be given by one of our students covering the organizations and activities available to you as a pharmacy student.  You will also see a video showcasing some of our faculty and the work being done in each of their areas. Light refreshments will be served.

Candidates will be given a tour by student vounteers and will be happy to answer questions regarding their experiences.
