You have through the summer prior to entrance to complete your pre-requisites, with the exception of organic chemistry.  We must have a grade for the first semester of organic chemistry no later than the fall. Pre-pharmacy requirements in the following areas must be repeated if it has been longer than 7 years: biology and organic chemistry.  It is recommended that all science requirements be completed at a 4 year institution.

Check the transferable course link found on our webpage at: for assistance in determining if you have met the requirements.

Transcript Requirements for both U.S. and International Transcripts

You must send one official transcript from all U.S. accredited schools attended to PharmCAS. Send through summer 2018 if available.  If not, summer session and fall grades will need to be updated through PharmCAS after grades are posted. Do not wait to apply and do not neglect to send what is available due to summer session enrollment.

You must send an official copy of the International Credential Advantage Package (ICAP) if you have previous study outside of the United States to PharmCAS.  This ICAP package will include an evaluation and verification of your international transcript(s).  All international transcripts must be evaluated unless you enrolled through a study abroad program through a U.S. Institution.

You must send an official copy of the ACE transcript and DD214 form directly to Pacific if you completed coursework in the military.

You must send one official transcript from U.S. schools which are not regionally accredited (vocational, technical, language schools) to Pacific.

You should send transcripts and evaluations as SOON as you begin your application!

Recommendations should be sent to PharmCAS using the PharmCAS LOR's. We require two LOR rating forms.  One MUST be from a professor from a school you attended within the last three years.  If you have been out of school for over three years, you may substitute the academic recommendation with one from a supervisor. The other recommendation may be from anyone you choose, as long as the person is not a family member.  Pacific highly recommends you choose a pharmacist to recommend you; however, a pharmacist recommendation is not a requirement. If you need to have one sent directly to Pacific, please contact Veronica Semler: for a copy of the form.

If your native language is not English, you may be required to submit an appropriate TOEFL exam.  Students who have lived in the United States for more than six years and earned a U.S. bachelor's degree are automatically exempt. Students who have enrolled in four years of academic coursework with no ESL courses are also typically exempt.  All non-native English speakers who do not meet the above exemptions are REQUIRED to submit a minimum score:  Paper 550; Internet 80; Computer 213. Select PharmCAS Code 104 to report scores directly to PharmCAS.

We will accept an IELTS score of 6.5 in place of the TOEFL.
