Welcome to the Brubeck Institute
The Brubeck Institute was founded in honor of legendary jazz pioneer Dave Brubeck '42, and his wife and fellow University of the Pacific alum, Iola Brubeck '45.
Established in 2000, the Institute is home to one of the foremost jazz programs in the world, with signature offerings including the Brubeck Institute Jazz Fellowship and the Brubeck Institute Summer Jazz Colony. The Institute is also home to the Brubeck Collection, one of the largest comprehensive collections from a contemporary musician, and an invaluable resource for scholarship and research.
