How to Find an Internship

Log into Tiger Jobs to search for internships with companies looking to hire Pacific students.

Notice to Stduents

The Tiger Jobs Board lists paid and unpaid internship opportunities. We encourage students to explore opportunities and determine their own path.

This notice is to inform you that The University of Pacific posts internships that may be paid internships, subsidized internships (compensation is below the minimum wage) or unpaid internships. We at the University believe students should have the right to consider an experience in and of itself valuable enough to justify an unpaid or below minimum wage compensation package and therefore have included this on the Tiger Jobs Board. We encourage all students to do their research and make an informed decision about internships and employment opportunities.

Resources

You can look for jobs on Tiger Jobs or online job boards where employers post their open positions. Some sites specifically have a section for jobs for new grads.

On-Campus Interviews
On-campus interviews are a convenient way for you to interview with prospective employers.  A number of high caliber organizations conduct on-campus interviews throughout the year, for full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities. To find out which organizations will be conducting on-campus interviews, to apply for opportunities, or to sign up for an interview, log into your Tiger Jobs account.

On-Campus Employment
Many university departments hire Pacific students into part-time positions. While many of these positions are open to all students, some require students to have federal work study funds as part of their financial aid package. Students who are awarded federal work-study are eligible to apply for jobs that are designated as "on-campus work study" positions.
