For Faculty and Staff

Commencement is a special day where we honor our Pacific community, including the outstanding educators who have made success possible for generations of Pacific students. The entire faculty and staff community is invited to participate in the Commencement ceremonies, as we celebrate your achievements, as well as those of your students and colleagues. The annual University Commencement will be held Saturday, May 11th, at 9:00 A.M. in the Alex G. Spanos Center. Faculty and staff participating in Commencement should arrive by 8:00 a.m.

Pacific has a number of ways in which we recognize outstanding faculty and staff contributions to the University, and we encourage you to attend Commencement to see your colleagues recognized. It is a proud moment for the University when we honor the teachers, scholars and staff members who make Pacific such an extraordinary place, and we hope you will join us in this salute.

Commencement Tickets
The All-University Commencement ceremony is not a ticketed event.

Academic Regalia
Academic regalia can be rented through the Stockton campus University Bookstore. Please contact the bookstore directly to place orders at 209.460.3875. Deadline for ordering is March 25, 2019.

Those wearing academic regalia always wear their caps in academic processions and during the ceremony of conferring degrees. People may remove their caps during prayer, the playing of the national anthem and the alma mater, and at other specified times; e.g., during the baccalaureate sermon or the commencement address. It is traditional that all such actions be done in unison.

If a person holds more than one academic degree, they may wear only one hood at a time. The hood worn should be appropriate to the gown.
