Scholarships for International Students
Welcome to the University of the Pacific! We are pleased to offer scholarships to international students as our investment in your experience at the university. Please review the options below to determine which scholarships you might be eligible to receive and read information about any application requirements. Powell Scholarship
International first-year students are welcome to apply for the University of the Pacific's Powell Scholarship. For the 2021-22 year, the Powell Scholarship is $43,000. In addition, Powell Scholars may receive additional funding for study abroad and research opportunities. The Powell Scholarship requires a separate application and interview process. Students are required to apply for admission and apply for the Powell Scholarship to receive full consideration.
Academic Merit Scholarships
If you are an international student who graduated from a high school located in the United States, you will be considered for a domestic academic merit scholarship upon admission to the university. For the 2020-21 year merit scholarship, amounts range from $8,000 to $24,000. To be considered for a merit-based scholarship, please apply for admission and all supporting items. You will be notified of your eligibility upon admission.
International Student Merit Scholarships
The university offers several International Student Merit Scholarships to international students applying as first-year or transfer students. Eligibility for the $15,000 International Student Merit Scholarship is limited to international students who graduated from a high school outside of the United States. To be considered for this scholarship, please apply for admission and all supporting items. You will be notified of your eligibility upon admission.
Athletic Scholarships
Athletic scholarships are available to eligible international students.
