Spring 2019 Updates

April 2019
Construction is in full swing at the library. The first floor, which includes Innovative Commons and Learning Commons, is expected to be completed by July 2019.  The focus will then shift toward construction of the Reading Commons and Academic Commons on the second floor. Catch a glimpse of construction progress in three formats below (images, video, and 360 tour).

During spring finals, the Alumni House will host additional  study space for students. It will start on April 28th and go through May 9th. The hours will be from 8:00PM - 2:00 AM in the Board of Regents room. Students can access this space via swipe card access from the west side of the building.

360 Tour

January 2019
The first phase of the library construction has begun and will last throughout the Spring & Summer semesters. Pardon our dust and the noise. First floor is closed. Ear plugs and noise-cancelling headphones are available at the Ask Us desk, 2nd floor.

Please use the South entrance of the Library, located on Dave Brubeck Way, to access library services and departments which are now on the Second Floor, Third Floor and Garden Level.

To locate specific departments, see revised floor directory.

Online resources and online services are still available through the library website including e-books, e-journals, and publisher databases. Library chat will also be available 24/7 through Ask a Librarian, and library materials can be renewed online.

You can contact the library by email or by phone (209) 946-2431. For ADA assistance into the library, please call (209) 932-3317.

Further renovation detail could be found on the Library Renovation webpage.
