Faculty: Encourage students to submit abstracts for 2016 National Conference on Undergraduate Research

Nov 5, 2015

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is an excellent opportunity for students to present the results of their research/creative work.  The year 2016 marks the 30th annual conference. NCUR is a multi-disciplinary conference for bright, motivated, and talented students, who come from all types of institutions including research universities, community colleges, comprehensive universities, and private liberal arts colleges.  This conference is an opportunity for students to present research to peers, receive feedback from faculty from other institutions, network with graduate school representatives, and hear from inspiring plenary speakers.

The Council on Undergraduate Research and University of North Carolina - Asheville, the NCUR 2016 host, invite undergraduate students to submit abstracts for posters, oral presentations, and creative and performing arts presentations. The abstract submission deadline is Dec. 2, 2015.  Conference Dates are April 7-9, 2016.

For more information, visit: http://www.cur.org/ncur_2016. Please have students contact Dr. Lydia Fox (lkfox@pacific.edu) if they are planning to submit an abstract.
