Drunken Shakespeare is a short sketch comedy style performance, compiled by Lisa A. Tromovitch, featuring Shakespeare's most famous drinking scenes and his beloved "tipsy" characters! With root beer tastings and root beer floats.

PBK sponsored a paper prize for best undergraduate research paper and runner up. The prizes went to Ronnie Sanchez (Social Science) for his paper "District 9: An Analysis of Gender, Race, and Sexuality," and to Edith Torres Rios (Spanish - Hispanic Lang & Lit, Modern Language and Literature) for her paper "Memes on the US-Mexico Border."
