Visiting Writers

Each year, the English Department welcomes distinguished novelists, poets, screenwriters, playwrights, and essayists to campus, where they share their insight and experience with our students. Whether they speak for an evening or guest lecture for a semester, our students' experiences are enriched by their presence and their perspectives. Below are many of the writers we've been honored to welcome to Pacific.

The C.A. Webster Foundation, College of the Pacific Dean's Office, Ethnic Studies, Gender Studies and The Humanities Center have underwritten poetry readings sponsored by the English Department.
