Accelerated Professional Degree Programs Our accelerated programs are designed for very talented and dedicated high school students who are able to pursue a accelerated professional degree program.
Summer Sessions Summer programs allow members of the community to register for regular University courses without having to apply for admission to Pacific or to submit transcripts. Courses are offered through the Center for Professional and Continuing Education.
Pacific's Honors Program The Honors program includes two Honors Mentor Seminars, an Honors Senior Project, and an Honors general education course. Two honors residence halls, John Ballantyne House and Carter House, enable selected honors program members to live together. Some students see the honors activities as an Honors Community.
Pacific Humanities Scholars Program The Pacific Humanities Scholars Program is an interdisciplinary path of study that allows exceptional students majoring in the humanities to complete their undergraduate degree within three years. It is the only program of its kind in the nation, offering an accelerated but enriching educational experience along with a career and community focus.
Pacific Legal Scholars Program The Pacific Legal Scholars Program is a unique honors program aimed at providing high caliber students with a highly personalized, student-centered legal experience that allows them to complete the Bachelors and J.D. Degree in either an accelerated six-year or customary seven-year period.
The Powell Scholars Program The Powell Scholarship is the university's premier academic merit award, and is designed to cultivate academic achievement, leadership and creativity in all majors across the university.
Pacific Seminars As the distinctive aspect of Pacific's general education program, the three Pacific Seminars focus on the question, "What is a Good Society?" These discussion-oriented, writing intensive seminars serve as a microcosm of our democratic republic for the discussion of vital personal, social, political and global issues. Pacific Seminars I and II are taken in the first year, and Pacific Seminar III is taken in the senior year, functioning as one of the culminating experiences at Pacific. For more information, see Pacific's General Education Program.
