“I came from a really small high school, and that's what I wanted in a university – to be able to develop close relationships with my professors so that if I needed help, I could just reach out to them.”
“I started at Pacific as a computer science major, and I switched in my sophomore year to engineering management.
The thought of changing was scary at first, but within 20 minutes of meeting with Dr. Fernandez, he helped formulate my plan and confirmed for me that engineering management is where I belong.”
Engineering Management is ranked in the top 20% of non-doctoral Engineering and Computer Science programs in the country
“I'm part of Theta Tau, which is a professional engineering fraternity. Aside from doing professional development things, we have a lot of brotherhood events, game nights and regular retreats, which are always a lot of fun.”
"Pacific is the perfect place to discover different areas that you’ve never been to before"
What do you like to do for fun, outside of school?
“I have a really close group of friends at Pacific. Sometimes we plan spontaneous trips to San Francisco or Monterey, which are both nearby. Pacific is the perfect place to discover different areas that you’ve never been to before. It gave me that opportunity—like ‘Hey, I could go here, and here and here!’”
