Fall Open House is your chance to get to know the University of the Pacific. You can explore campus, meet other students, connect with professors and get answers to your questions.
Why attend Fall Open House? You can drop by campus and see it for yourself at any point, but Fall Open House is a day for you and your family to meet and speak with the people—students, faculty and staff—who make Pacific what it is.

See Pacific’s beautiful campus
Throughout the day, you’ll be able to join tours led by a current Pacific student. It’s a great opportunity to see Pacific’s redbrick buildings and envision the walks you’ll take every day as a student.
You can ask your tour guide questions about life on campus, classes and how they have fun. They’re the best resource you have to understand what student life is like as a Pacific Tiger.
Tour the residence halls
You’ll have a chance to tour one of Pacific’s residence halls. You’ll see what your room looks like, speak with a resident assistant and learn about the available amenities.
One of the most important things you’ll find in your residence hall is the community in it. You can talk with the RA about the ways they help new students find their people.
Meet students studying the same major as you’re interested in
You can attend academic open houses that showcase Pacific’s major programs. You’ll meet college deans, professors and other students who want to study the same major you’re interested in. It’s your chance to learn firsthand what each major is like from the people who teach it.
Learn about resources
There will also be information sessions about financial aid, the admission process and career outcomes. If you have specific questions about those topics, be sure to attend that session.
Stick around for Homecoming
Fall Open House is just the start of the weekend’s events. You and your family can stay after to attend Homecoming and Family Weekend events, where you can watch our women’s soccer team take the field, listen to a live jazz concert and mingle with alumni, professors and other Pacific community members.
