Reaccreditation draft self-study report now available for review

Mar 27, 2018

The university's Reaccreditation Steering Committee has completed its draft of our institutional self-study report. This report is part of the multi-year process of reaffirming our accreditation by WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Pacific must submit its self-study report on how well it meets WSCUC standards by the end of June 2018.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to review the draft report and provide feedback here (Pacific login required). The committee has requested all feedback by April 20.

Please consider the following three questions while reviewing:

  1. How well does the draft represent University of the Pacific?
  2. Is there missing information that could be added to bolster points made at specific places in the report, or are there better examples to include? If so, please provide.
  3. Are there any significant errors? If so, please submit your corrections.

The university community also is invited to participate in a series of campus forums starting today, March 27 where members of the steering committee and the provost will present the draft report and background on its development, talk about next steps in the review process and answer questions.

Members of the steering committee will also conduct a 'roadshow' to present the draft report to various committees and groups over the next few weeks.

Many thanks go to the steering committee, working groups and everyone who has been a part of this important work in the university's reaccreditation process.
