About

University Athletics are a highly regulated unit at Pacific.  The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) governs Pacific's Division I athletics program in numerous ways including: Ethical Conduct, Personnel, Amateurism, Recruiting, Eligibility, Financial Aid, Awards & Benefits, and Playing & Practice Seasons.  In addition Pacific Athletics are also governed by the conferences each sport plays in.  These conferences include the West Coast Conference, the NorPac Conference, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Conference, and the Golden Coast Conference.

This website is a quick reference to the many NCAA rules that apply to our boosters, former students, fans, friends, staff members, and current and prospective student-athletes of the University of the Pacific. Since all applicable situations cannot be covered on this site, we hope you will ask questions as everyone involved with Pacific athletics has a role in compliance.

The University is proud to have your loyal support and continued interest in the athletic program. As we strive for continued excellence, we must always seek the highest standard of ethical conduct. With your assistance and cooperation, we believe we can accomplish these goals.
