Environmental Engineering - Minor

Gender Studies - Minor

The gender studies program at Pacific is an interdisciplinary program that involves a variety of courses in different disciplines: art history, biology, classics, English, French, health exercise and sport sciences, history, psychology, religion, sociology, and Spanish. All deal with issues of gender.

The Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science prepares you for careers and/or graduate study in areas such as medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, health sciences, nutrition and exercise physiology.  The program is science-based and human-oriented. 

The study of human movement comprises an understanding of the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, immune and metabolic systems. Foundational sciences, as well as exercise physiology, kinesiology, and clinical opportunities, provide the underpinning of the program.

Health, Exercise and Sport Sciences examines how movement-based physical activities, exercise, and sport contribute to the quality of human life.
