About Preparatory Coursework
Recommended Course of Study for High School Students
University of the Pacific recommends that applicants complete a college preparatory course of study aimed at strengthening analytical abilities and written and oral skills. This course of study typically includes:
- 4 years of English
- 3 (or 4) years of mathematics
- 2 (or 3) years of laboratory science
- 2 years of the same foreign language
- 1 year of U.S. History
- 1 year of fine or performing arts
