Student Health Insurance Plan

New and important information for the 2019-2020 Plan:

  • The In-Network Coinsurance has changed from 90% to 80%.
  • The combined In-Network and Out-of-Network Deductible has increased from $150 per Insured, to $300 per Insured.
  • A Tier 4 Prescription Drug Co-payment has been implemented at 20% Coinsurance for the Insured.
  • The World Wide Travel Assistance Services Provider is now through GeoBlue.

2019-2020 Cost and Coverage Dates

  • Dental (not including Dental Hygiene) and AEGD Residents - Dugoni School of Dentistry
    • July 1st -  December 31st - Summer/Autumn quarters
    • January 1st - June 30th - Winter/Spring quarters
    • Cost: $3,342 Annual; $835.50 per quarter
  • Graduate and Professional - Stockton, Sacramento, San Francisco
    • August 1st - January 31st - Fall semester
    • February 1st - July 31st - Spring semester
    • Cost:  $3,342 Annual; $1,671 per semester

    *Update: Physician Assistant Program new cohorts starting January 2020 will have the same coverage dates as Dugoni School of Dentistry

  • Law - McGeorge School of Law
    • August 1st - January 31st - Fall semester
    • February 1st - July 31st - Spring semester
    • Cost: $3,342 Annual; $1,671 per semester
  • Undergraduate
    • August 1st - January 31st - Fall semster
    • February 1st - July 31st - Spring semester
    • Cost:  $2,520 Annual; $1,260 per semester
  • International Students
    • Cost: $2,520 Annual

*SHIP fees are charged to your student account each term along with your registration fees.  You will be required to pay these fees and will be covered by Pacific SHIP unless you have an approved waiver application on file with the Insurance Office.
