Free license exam preparation

Pacific’s Rx for Success preparation program is the first of its kind in California. Our unique summer immersion program prepares our graduates to pass the California Practice Standards and Jurisprudence Examination for Pharmacists (CPJE). Pacific grads who took the inaugural program in 2023 passed the exam at an average rate of 83%—higher than every other pharmacy school in California.  All at no cost to Pacific graduates.

Ready to Apply?

Ready to begin your Pacific PharmD journey? Early Action is a non-binding option. Receive priority review of your PharmD application and selection of scholarships. PharmD applicants who have a 2.8 cumulative GPA or higher are guaranteed an interview. As interview slots are limited, it is to your advantage to apply as early as possible. In previous years, a higher percentage of applicants who applied early were interviewed and admitted than those who applied closer to the final deadline.

Experiential Learning

You'll complete 6 clinical rotations in your final year to get the hands-on experience you need to hone your clinical and patient care skills. With 17 clinical experience regions located across California, you will be immersed in a wide range of practice settings from fast-paced hospital environments to placements focused on research, business, or a cutting-edge specialty.

    A new frontier
    Cutting Edge Research

    Our faculty members use research to challenge the status quo of patient care and education. Their research covers a wide spectrum of topics, including drug delivery, drug design, mental health and patient care. At Pacific, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our faculty members on cutting-edge research projects that will help shape the future of the pharmaceutical industry.

    Three NIH grant funded research projects are currently underway at the School:

    • Innovative bioelectricity research 
    • $1.15 million NIH grant 
    • $367K NIH grant to study aryl hydrocarbon receptor 

    The following are required for admission into the Pacific PharmD program:

    • Online PharmCAS application (includes Pacific Supplemental questions)
    • Official university transcripts
    • World Educational Services International Credential Advantage Package (for international coursework)
    • AP/IB/CLEP test scores (if applicable)
    • Two written essay prompts
    • Two letters of recommendation
    • TOEFL or IELTS score (if native language is not English)

    International students must also provide:

    • Statement of Financial Responsibility and Affidavit of Support
    • Funding Letter/Certification of Finances
    • Copy of Passport Biographical Page
    • Copy of I-20 and I-94 Forms

    Pacific's Doctor of Pharmacy program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). Following a rigorous review, the ACPE granted the program an eight-year reaccreditation in 2016.
