Academic Division

Laura Orosco was promoted to international graduate admission specialist in the Graduate School.

Robert Hanyak was appointed interim director of new healthcare program initiatives in the Office of the Provost.

Nayeli Ortega is the new clinic coordinator in the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Ryan Molavi is the new project coordinator in the Office of Sponsored Programs on the Sacramento Campus.

Sarah Layne is the new international student and scholar coordinator in  International Programs and Services.

Aliya Joy is the new assistant director for the Public Policy Programs in the McGeorge School of Law.

Announcements and reorganization in the Office of the Registrar: 
Dede Sanchez, associate registrar, retired Feb. 28 after 47 years of exemplary service to Pacific. She spearheaded many key initiatives at improved efficiency and service to students, faculty and staff, including the online transcript ordering system for students, online faculty grading and federal enrollment reporting for compliance.  

David DeVolve has assumed a new role as a business process analyst for the three-city Office of the Registrar. In this role, he will review manual, paper-based, or otherwise inefficient processes in the Office to identify opportunities to leverage technology and other resources to streamline work, enhance the student experience and develop consistent practices and services across the three campuses. He will continue to be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the DegreeWorks system.  

Michelle Faul, senior assistant registrar, now oversees the evaluator team in the Stockton Office. She works with evaluator staff to ensure timely, accurate and consistent services in articulation, degree awarding and student record adjustments such as degree substitutions and changes of program.  

Michael Snyder, assistant registrar, now oversees the certifier team in the Stockton Registrar's Office. He works with certifier staff in the areas of compliance with federal enrollment reporting requirements, NCAA and VA certification, class and room scheduling, and registration/Banner Student-related areas.  

Business and Finance

Fidelma O'Neill was promoted to contract administrator in the Office of the Controller.

Joseph Wehrle was promoted to HVAC technician, group IV lead, in  Physical Plant.

Development and Alumni Relations

Ray Cleverly was promoted to annual giving officer in Development.

Jesus 'Alfredo' Ramirez was promoted to Network Engineer I in Network Systems.

Student Life

Daniel Her is a new public safety officer in Public Safety.

Clovis Silva is a new patrol officer in Public Safety on the San Francisco Campus.
