Pacific campaign raises more than $50,000 for United Way

University of the Pacific’s three-campus campaign to support United Way ended Sunday, Nov. 24, with the close of open enrollment for benefits, and we are thankful for the more than 200 employees who contributed to this effort.

Pacific faculty and staff raised $55,745.28 through payroll deduction pledges and one-time gifts.

All told, 232 Pacific employees donated to United Way and the charities it supports. While this was short of the stated goal of 323, we still are very grateful of those who pledged funds to agencies that help improve the quality of life in all of the communities we serve as a university.

The winner of the last prize incentive drawing—an annual “A” parking pass—is James Gonzales in the Conservatory of Music.

The United Way campaign leaders—Mike Klocke and Lisa Douglass of External Relations and Janae Reinhardt of the President’s Office—appreciate all of your kind-hearted support.
