Social Fraternities and Sororities
The University of the Pacific is currently home to 11 social organizations affiliated with one of the three governing councils: IFC, MGC, and Panhellenic.
Alpha Phi — ΑΦ
Alpha Phi enhances and promotes each member's development and learning by focusing on sisterhood, service, scholarship, leadership, loyalty and character development.
- Governing Council: Panhellenic Council
- Founded: Founded on Oct. 10, 1872 at Syracuse University
- Philanthropic Focus: Alpha Phi's philanthropic focus is on the Alpha Phi Foundation.
Beta Theta Pi — ΒΘΠ
Their mission is to develop men of principle of a principled life. Their core values are mutual assistance, intellectual growth, trust, responsible conduct, and integrity.
- Governing Council: Interfraternity Council
- Founded: Founded on Aug. 8, 1839 at Miami University (Ohio).
- Philanthropic Focus: Beta's philanthropic focus is on Stockton's Women's Center — Youth and Family Services.
Gamma Alpha Omega — ΓΑΩ
Their organization pillars are Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship and Unity.
- Governing Council: Multicultural Greek Council
- Founded: Founded on Jan. 25, 1993 at Arizona State University
- Philanthropic Focus: Gamma's philanthropic efforts are on education with a focus on mentoring youth in the Stockton community.
Delta Gamma — ΔΓ
The object of their fraternity is to foster high ideals of friendship among women, promote their education and cultural interests, create in them a true sense of social responsibility and develop in them the best qualities of character.

- Founded: Founded on Dec. 25, 1873, in Oxford, Mississippi, at the Lewis School for Girls.
- Philanthropic Focus: Delta Gamma's philanthropic focus is on Service for Sight.
Theta Chi — ΘΧ
The organization's virtues are Truth, Temperance, and Tolerance.
- Governing Council: Interfraternity Council
- Founded: Founded on April 10, 1856 at Norwich University
- Philanthropic Focus: Theta Chi's philanthropic focus is on the United Service Organizations (USO).
Kappa Alpha Theta — ΚΑΘ
Their purpose is to support members to learn, grow, and excel. Their cores values are personal excellence, friendship/sisterhood, scholarship, service and leadership.
- Governing Council: Panhellenic Council
- Founded: Founded on Jan. 27, 1870 at DePauw University.
- Philanthropic Focus: Theta's philanthropic focus is on their foundation and Court Appointed Special Advocates of San Joaquin County (CASA).
Xi Chi Sigma — ΞΧΣ
Their mission is to build a foundation of Brotherhood and friendship by means of Respect, Trust, Commitment, and a sense of duty while stressing Cultural Awareness, High Academic Standards, and Leadership. Their pillars are Brotherhood, Asian Cultural Awareness, Leadership, and Philanthropy.

- Founded: Founded on Feb. 1, 2003 at University of the Pacific.
- Philanthropic Focus: Xi Chi Sigma's philanthropic focus is on the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation (UCP).
Pi Kappa Alpha — ΠΚΑ
Their mission is dedicated to developing men of integrity, intellect, and high moral character and to fostering a truly lifelong fraternal experience.

- Founded: Founded on March 1, 1868 at University of Virginia.
- Philanthropic Focus: Pike's philanthropic focus is on the Stockton Homeless Shelter.
Rho Delta Chi — ΡΔΧ
Their organization places strong emphasis on academic achievement, personal growth, community participation, leadership, and camaraderie. Their pillars are Sisterhood, Service, Scholastic, and Social.

- Founded: Founded on Jan. 17, 1991 at University of California, Riverside.
- Philanthropic Focus: Rho's philanthropic focus is on the American Lung Association.
Sigma Chi — ΣΧ
The purpose of this fraternity shall be to cultivate and maintain the high ideals of friendship, justice and learning upon which Sigma Chi was founded.
- Governing Council: Interfraternity Council
- Founded: Founded on June 28, 1855 at Miami University (Ohio).
- Philanthropic Focus: Sigma Chi's philanthropic focus is on the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.
Omega Delta Phi — ΩΔΦ
Their purpose is dedicated to the needs and concerns of the community, is and shall be to promote and maintain the traditional values of Unity, Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership.

- Founded: Founded on Nov. 25, 1987 at Texas Tech University.
- Philanthropic Focus: ODPhi's philanthropic focus is on their Young Knights program and is also on dedicated community service within various aspects of the Stockton community.
