» 2017 Summary Annual Report- University of the Pacific Defined Contribution Retirement Plan. The 2017 SAR Report is complete. This report, required by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), is an annual financial summary of a filing the Plan makes with the Internal Revenue Service. The purpose of the summary is to provide information regarding the financial status of the Plan and to comply with your right to the information. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please send an email to employee_benefits@pacific.edu. » Rebranding Update for Liberty Mutual Life Insurance, now The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company - As of May 1, 2018, Liberty Life Assurance Company of Boston is now a wholly owned subsidiary of The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, a Lincoln Financial Group Company. Your Liberty Mutual Insurance benefits are now provided by Lincoln Financial. The transition to the Lincoln name will take place over the coming months. During this time, you may see reference to Liberty Mutual, Liberty Mutual Benefits a Lincoln Financial Group Company or Lincoln Financial Group. Please open and read all correspondence you receive about your benefits. Regardless of the brand reference there will be no interruption to benefits or claims processing. » Changes to UG Student Employee Background Check Policy and Procedures - Pacific strives to offer a safe educational environment for all students, faculty, and staff in support of its educational mission. As part of the hiring process for undergraduate students Human Resources has historically required a completed criminal background check (CBC) as part of authorizing a undergraduate student to work on campus. As of 03/13/2018, undergraduate students working in standard administrative or clerical roles on Pacific's campus are no longer required to complete a CBC; unless they are working in an environment with minors or off campus. For more information, please review the updated policy and procedures linked here. Also, here is a list of things to remember when hiring students. » Dameron Primary Care and Linacia Pharmacy Changes Effective 05.01.2018- To Pacific Employees enrolled in EPO, PPO, or Pacific High Deductible Plans: Effective May 1, 2018 Dameron Primary Care and Linacia Pharmacy will no longer provide their services to us at discounted rates and $0 copay. Dameron Primary Care is still an Anthem Prudent Buyer PPO contracted provider and Linacia is a contracted pharmacy through WellDyne so they are still accessible; however, they are terminating the discount programs on 4/30/18.
