New enhancements coming in Banner 9

University of the Pacific will begin the upgrade to Banner 9 on Nov. 10. The new version of Banner delivers a number of important enhancements, including a modern user interface; enhanced navigation and process management tools; and new functionality across the student, HR and finance modules. It will also provide greater flexibility through improved cross-browser and mobile device support.  

With any system upgrade, there are also a number of changes, and Pacific Technology has been working closely with our partner, Ellucian, to understand and anticipate those changes. To date, other institutions that have upgraded have reported minimal effort in adapting to the new interface and navigation. Hundreds of Banner customers have already upgraded or are in the process of upgrading, and Pacific will be able to share experiences across the Banner community as we roll out Banner 9.
