University website redesign moving forward on schedule

The university’s website redesign and branding initiative is making progress toward the scheduled September launch led by the project team, with support from leadership, the Steering Committee and many stakeholders.

The primary goal of the project is to develop and maintain a marketing-focused website that engages prospective students and their families and distinguishes the university’s brand in an increasingly competitive market. One of the project’s first deliverables was creation of a 2020 enrollment-focused microsite for prospective students. The site was launched in February with four videos featuring successful alumni and continues to be enhanced in response to the impacts of COVID-19, such the transition from in-person to virtual yield events.

In addition to the microsite, several phases of the project have been completed including research, brand strategy, and the selection of a new content management system.  A comprehensive content audit is underway as well as the initial design phase.
