Session 2

Choir

Choral Singing

Immerse yourself in the joy of choral singing in the beautiful campus at the University of the Pacific. Through everyday rehearsals, workshops and the final concert, students will explore diverse choral repertoires in different styles with new friends. Our choir camp instructors are committed to offering participants an aesthetically satisfying and educationally rewarding experience. We enthusiastically invite all high school students who wish to cultivate their musicianship and ensemble skills to become better singers and musicians.

The choir program is intended for students who sing in their school ensemble and are interested in singing choral repertoire at the Summer High School Institute. Students in the choir program often collaborate with students in our musical theatre program.

Curriculum

Through various ensemble activities, students will have an inspiring experience of team building as they work alongside their peer musicians.

Learning various choral repertories from all over the globe, students will be introduced to diverse languages and cultures. The camp will culminate in a final concert.
