Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

The School offers six academic programs — athletic training, audiology, pharmacy, pharmaceutical and chemical sciencesphysical therapy and speech-language pathology. The School was the first school of pharmacy in California to offer a three-year accelerated pharmacy program, is known nationwide for offering speech-language pathology students clinical experiences, starting when they are undergraduates, and has prepared practice-ready physical therapists since 1985. The Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences Graduate Program (PCSP) offers students three degree tracks: MS, PhD and a dual degree PharmD/PhD. In 2015, Pacific launched the doctor of audiology (AuD) program, which is the first audiology program in Northern California. Pacific's AuD program is one of four accelerated programs in the country and the only one in California. The master of science in athletic training prepares students to become a highly qualified health care professional who collaborates with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation for athletic and active patients.

The School is success-centered, leadership-focused and has a powerful network. We boast dedicated, experienced faculty who support students throughout their time at Pacific. We empower students to succeed by providing access to state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment for meaningful, hands-on learning. Students also have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and serve the community through student-led health care outreach programs. We create opportunities for students to network with alumni who are powerful and influential leaders in their respective professions.
