Now that you've confirmed your enrollment, here's what you need to know.

 

Your pre-arrival checklist:
 

  1. Obtain your I-20 & Schedule a Visa Appointment: If you are not a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident, or do not have an immigration status that lets you study in the U.S., you will need a Form I-20. This form is required to apply for an F-1 student visa.
    • If you are currently in the U.S. on a Student Visa, please contact the Office of Graduate Admission by email at gradadmission@pacific.edu for assistance.
    • If you are outside of the US, submit the following materials to gradadmission@pacific.edu to start the process:

      • A copy of your current passport
        • NOTE: Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your admission date.
      • Completed Certification of Finances Form
      • Financial support documents (must be in English and not older than 6 months), such as bank statements, government sponsor letters, sponsor letters, or scholarship forms.

      Important: Submit all required documents at least 6 weeks before the start of the term to allow enough time to schedule a visa appointment.
       

  2. Set up your student email account. All official university communication will be sent to your student email account. Follow these steps or Click here for a detailed step by step guide.:
  3. Review your billing and financial information. Your Billing and financial details are available in My.pacific.edu, under the billing widget on the home dashboard.
  4. Enroll or waive student health insurance. Students are automatically be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP).

    • If you don't need SHIP, you must submit an insurance waiver before the first day of classes. Information about SHIP and the waiver process can be found on the Student Health Services page.

    NOTE: Students enrolled in an online program will not be required to submit health insurance.
     

  5. Submit your immunization records. You are required to submit immunization records to attend on-campus classes.
